Very traditional product, consisting of sausage incorporated in caciocavallo, portioned in slices of about 400 g.
All the beginnings of the 1900s, our ancestors, forced to emigrate to America, to obviate the prohibition of bringing with them some cold cuts and therefore not to renounce to the tastes of the land of origin, devised an expedient: they hid sausages and soppressate in cheeses. Thus the “Caciocavallo of the emigrant” was born.
